| The legend about Vaishno Devi shrine says that it was discovered by a Pandit named Sridhar who was a poor Brahmin and lived in a village called Hansali, near Katra. If you visit Vaishno Devi shrine you must also go for Bhairon Darshan to complete the Yatra. |

| DAY 01 : JAMMU – KATRA |

| On arrival at Jammu, you will be met and transferred to Katra (55 kms / 1 ½ hrs approx) check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. We suggest you start the climb towards the shrine at night so that by the end of next day you are back in Katra with your Darshan complete. Overnight at the hotel. |

| DAY 02 : KATRA |

| The day is free for Darshan. Please note that shrine is open for Darshan round the clock except 2 hours in the morning between 6 am and 8 am and 2 hours in the evening between 6 pm and 8 pm when the Aarti is performed. While inside the cave concentrate on Darshan of Mother Goddess in her three pindi forms Maha Kali, Mahalaxmi and Maha Saraswati. Remember to also visit the Bhairon Temple located at a slightly higher altitude. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. |

| DAY 03 : KATRA – JAMMU |

| After breakfast, drive to Jammu railway station / airport for your onward journey. |
