| DAY 1 : MAHABALIPURAM |

| Arrive Chennai, you will be met and transferred to Mahabalipuram (58 Km in approx. 1 hr). On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Mahabalipuram - famous for the seven pagodas. Overnight at the hotel. |

| DAY 02 : MAHABALIPURAM – TANJORE |

| After breakfast, proceed to Tanjore (309 kms/ approx 7 hrs). known as Thanjavur (The rice bowl of Tamilnadu). Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit the beautiful Chola temple of Brihadeeshwara. Overnight at the hotel. |

| DAY 03 : TANJORE – TRICHY – TANJORE |
| After breakfast, proceed for full Day excursion to Trichy. Visit the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi, 434 steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines, lead to the temple. Visit Srirangam, a massive temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu sprawled on a Island in Cauvery River which contains, within its walls a Bazaar as well. Gaze up at the twenty-one magnificent towers of the temple surrounded by seven walls. Overnight at the hotel. |

| DAY 04 : TANJORE – MADURAI |
| After breakfast, proceed for Madurai (183 kms/ 4hrs) en route visit Karaikudi (Chettinad). Madurai is over 2500 years old and is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu - Ancient seat of learning. The city is planned in the shape of a lotus. Check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit the famous Madurai Meenakshi temple (dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams). There are four entrances to this amazing temple complex set in 6 hectares. The total number of pillars in the temple is a staggering one Thousand. If time permits enjoy a 'light and sound Panorama' in Thirumala Naik Temple (optional) or visit Alagar hills & Thirupura Rock Temple. Overnight at the hotel. |

| DAY 05 : MADURAI – RAMESHWARAM – MADURAI |
| After an early breakfast, procced for a full day excursion to Rameshwaram, a city of swell and gentle sand dunes, embellished with the delicacy of casurina trees and stark palms. This is a sacred place for Hindus. According to Ramayana, this where Lord Rama worshipped God Shiva to absolve himself of the sin of killing Ravana. Return to Madurai by evening. Overnight at the hotel. |

| DAY 06 : MADURAI – TRIVANDRUM |
| After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari (270 kms/7 hrs) - the southern tip where the Indian subcontinent meets the sea. Proceed for a sunset view against the sea. Leave for Trivandrum by surface and reach late evening. Overnight at hotel. |

| DAY 07 : TRIVANDRUM |
| After breakfast, visit the Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery, Zoological gardens, Reptile house, Observatory and Kanakakunnu Palace. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. |
